Marengo Township is an administrative district within McHenry County, Illinois. The township has its own locally elected government that works with other governmental agencies and residents to provide services and information. The goal of this website is to describe the township organization and mission, announce upcoming events and to share ideas and information the community.

The Marengo Township Trustees are issuing a Request for Proposals for the purpose of contracting with a qualified firm to provide Public Address And Mass Notification Systems as a service to Marengo Township. Marengo Township will be represented at the "Marengo Expo" On Febuary 13th and 14th at the Marengo High School. Come out to meet your Township Representatives.

There is now one opening on the Marengo Township Planning Commission. If you are interested in volunteering, please drop a line to the Commission to schedule an interview.

Free H1N1 Vaccines! It’s not too late to get vaccinated for H1N1 flu!

The McHenry County Department of Health is offering FREE H1N1 vaccinations for anyone 6 months of age or older. Please visit one of our walk in clinics in Woodstock (2200 N. Seminary Ave, Annex A) or Crystal Lake (100 N. Virginia St). These clinics will run from January 21st through February 11th , Monday-Friday 8:30am-12pm and 12:30pm- 4:00pm. Clinic dates may be extended.
